This Privacy Policy explains how LogiClue ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use logiclue.net and any related applications, tools, AI analysis features, account services, payment flows, and support channels (collectively, the "Site").
The Site is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not access the Site, create an account, submit information, or use the Site.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.
Information We Collect
Account information: We may collect information you provide when creating or managing an account, such as your email address, authentication credentials, account settings, and plan status. Passwords are processed through our authentication provider and are not stored by us in plain text.
User submissions: We may collect content you submit to the Site, including question text, answer choices, your selected answer, correct answer, notes, prompts, screenshots, files, and any other materials you provide for analysis.
Analysis data: We may collect and store AI-generated analysis, reasoning feedback, error classifications, comparative explanations, study history, usage counts, credits, and other information generated from or associated with your use of the Site.
Payment and billing information: If you purchase a paid plan, credits, prepaid access, or prepaid access, payment information is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not directly store full payment card numbers. We may receive billing contact information, transaction identifiers, receipts, tax-related information, payment status, plan status, and prepaid access or credit information.
Support communications: If you contact us for support, feedback, copyright complaints, privacy requests, or other inquiries, we may collect your name, email address, message content, attachments, and related communication history.
Automatically collected information: We may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, features used, time spent on pages, error logs, request timestamps, and general usage patterns.
Cookies and local storage: We may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, keep you signed in, remember preferences, manage sessions, improve functionality, understand usage, and prevent abuse. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some Site features may not function properly.
Sensitive Information and Restricted Materials
Please do not submit sensitive personal information or restricted materials to the Site unless necessary and legally permitted. This includes government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, confidential school records, confidential exam materials, live exam questions, graded assignment materials, copyrighted test materials, paid course content, proprietary question banks, or any content you are not authorized to use.
You are responsible for ensuring that your submissions comply with applicable laws, copyright rules, exam policies, school policies, course requirements, honor codes, and third-party terms.
How We Use Your Information
We may use information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- create and manage your account;
- provide AI-generated question analysis, reasoning feedback, and study-related features;
- save and display your analysis history, usage history, credits, plan status, and account settings;
- process payments, manage prepaid plans, issue receipts, and prevent payment abuse;
- respond to support requests, feedback, copyright complaints, privacy requests, and other communications;
- debug errors, monitor performance, and improve product quality;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, scraping, automated misuse, copyright violations, academic misconduct, and other violations of our Terms;
- send service-related communications, including confirmations, receipts, security alerts, product notices, and policy updates;
- send marketing communications where permitted by law, with the ability to opt out;
- generate aggregated or de-identified usage statistics;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
AI Processing
LogiClue uses automated systems and third-party AI providers to generate analysis and feedback. When you submit content for analysis, your submitted materials and related context may be sent to OpenRouter and to the underlying model providers selected to process the request.
The information sent for AI processing may include question text, answer choices, your selected answer, correct answer, notes, prompts, and other context needed to generate the requested analysis.
Third-party AI providers may process and retain submitted content according to their own terms, privacy policies, and data processing practices. Please do not submit personal, confidential, copyrighted, restricted, or unauthorized materials to the Site.
We do not use your submissions to create a public question bank or public repository. We may use submissions, outputs, logs, and related metadata to operate the Site, generate your requested analysis, maintain analysis history, debug errors, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and improve product quality.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate the Site, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Creem for payment processing, OpenRouter and underlying model providers for AI processing, hosting providers, analytics tools, email providers, security tools, and support tools.
- Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, legal process, regulation, court order, government request, or necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of LogiClue, our users, third parties, or the public.
- Terms enforcement: We may disclose or preserve information when necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, copyright complaints, academic misconduct, unauthorized use, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Business transfers: We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
- With your consent: We may share information when you direct us to do so or give us permission.
Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Site, measure usage, understand how users interact with features, and improve product performance.
We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns. If we later use advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, or similar tracking technologies, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide additional choices where required by law.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Site, maintain your account, provide analysis history, manage payments and credits, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and improve the Site.
Account information is generally retained while your account remains active. Analysis history and related submissions may be retained to provide your study history and product functionality unless deleted or restricted according to our practices. Payment, tax, security, and legal records may be retained for longer periods where required or permitted by law.
If you request deletion of your account or personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify applicable information, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and legitimate business needs. Copies may remain in backups or logs for a limited period. Information processed by third-party providers may be retained according to their own policies.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may update certain account information through your account settings where available. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information associated with your account.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. You may still receive service-related emails, including account, payment, security, legal, and policy notices.

We and our service providers may process, store, and transfer information in the United States and other countries where we or they operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country or region.
